Treble Makers Policies

Tuition & Fees: Tuition for the summer session is based on the number of hours per week in class. Tuition can be paid in monthly or semester payments. Monthly tuition payments are based on the amount of lessons throughout the semester and divided into monthly payments. Monthly payments will be based on the number of lessons per month. Monthly payments are due at the students first class of each month and semester payments are due by the first class of each semester. Payments received after the 7th of each month will be charged a $20.00 late fee per child for each week it is not paid. To ensure monthly payments are paid on time and consistently we now require you provide us with your debit or credit card info which will be the only form of payment accepted. In the event payment is declined we will require you pay the remainder balance of the semester in full to avoid further declined payments. REGISTRATION FEE: The fee is $20.00 for the 1st child, $15.00 for the 2nd child, and $10.00 for the 3rd child (Non-refundable). ONCE A TIME SLOT HAS BEEN CHOSEN, YOU WILL BE CHARGED BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DATE OF LESSONS. THIS IS TO PREVENT TIME SLOTS BEING TAKEN FROM OTHER STUDENTS AND CANCELLED.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy *

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: There is no refund policy once first lesson has begun. A student should not register for study if he/she believes that schedule changes will interfere with regular weekly attendance. Once registered, the student has contracted the teacher’s time for the duration of the semester and is responsible for the full tuition for the entire semester whether lessons are attended or not. Inability to find time to practice, changing one’s mind, or unexpected changes in the student’s schedule are not acceptable reasons for a withdrawal request. Subject to the sole discretion of Treble Makers Music Studio and its faculty members and representatives, students may withdraw and receive refunds prorated for the number of lessons received only in the event of prolonged illness or moving away from the area. If a student needs to withdraw, a withdrawal form must be filled out in the office with a two weeks notice prior to withdrawal. Billing to the account will continue unless this form has been completed.

Email *

Our main form of communication is through email and text. You will be held responsible for any overdue payments that were communicated through email or text.

NEW! COVID-19 POLICY *

It is our top priority to keep students and teachers safe as we adhere to our state mandated policies. We ask that parents do not enter into the studio when dropping students off. We ask that students wear a mask while entering into the building. Once students are inside instructors teaching room and in position six feet away from instructors, student may remove mask if they so choose. We may administer a temperature check before lesson begins. Teachers will be required to temperature check themselves daily, wash hands and wear a mask or shield while teaching unless student and parents have expressed they prefer teacher remove mask for teaching purposes in which case student and teacher will remain 6 feet apart. Hand sanitizer will be made available for students before and after lessons. In the event teachers or students must quarantine we will switch from private in person lessons to virtual lessons. Treble Makers will be sanitizing studio and implementing social distancing guidelines in an attempt to keep everyone as safe as possible. Students and parents please inform your instructor BEFORE attending your lesson if student has had a fever within the past 24 hrs 101.4 or greater, has not been feeling well, are experience any covid symptoms or are awaiting to receive the result from a covid test (even if a rapid test has returned negative). If you are dealing with any of the before mentioned we will need to do a virtual lesson instead of in person/in studio. Thank you for your compliance and understanding during this challenging time. We hope everything will be back to normal soon! Please sign below to signify you have read, understand and will adhere to our new Covid policies. Thank you!

Payment Agreement and Late Fee's *

I agree to pay for the entirety of the Spring lesson semester final payment being due the 28th of May 2022. I understand that even if I do not attend lessons I am still required to pay for lessons through the end of the semester which ends May 28th, 2022 as I have contracted my teachers time through the end of the semester. I understand that if my payment is declined I will be responsible to pay the remainder of the semesters balance in full to avoid future declined payments. In the event you must pay semester balance in full the balance will be due within 7 days of payment being declined. A late fee of $15 will be added to every consecutive week semester balance has not been paid in full after the initial 7 days have ended.

Attendance/Make Up Policy *

It is in the best interest of the students to attend lessons each week. Students will not progress properly unless they attend regularly. Lessons missed by students will NOT be made up for any reason unless student has doctors excuse or there are extenuating circumstances such as major illness or death in the family. When choosing a weekly lesson time be sure to pick a day and time that does not conflict with other activities or events as we will be unable to make any missed lessons up. In the event a teacher must be absent we will be sure to provide a substitute teacher or that missed lesson will certainly be made up at the students convenience as soon as possible. In the event a student requests to move to a different day or time for the remainder of the semester, we will attempt to accommodate such request but cannot guarantee a new day and time due to very full teachers schedules. In the event student and/or teacher must quarantine we will then continue lessons virtually until quarantining is no longer necessary. If a student is unable to attend regularly scheduled lesson in person they are always given the option of having lesson virtually so long as proper notice has been given and virtual lesson can be given at normal lesson day and time.

Practice Habits *

In order for students to progress and grow it is important for them to practice several times a week. Students who are dedicated and practice regularly will achieve the best results as they learn and grow as musicians/performers. Please encourage several weekly practice sessions while at home throughout the week. Student who forget their books or lesson material such as sheet music or cds cannot practice properly. Please remember to bring necessary books and materials to lessons in order to utilize their lesson time to the fullest. Arriving at least 5 minutes before scheduled lesson time is encouraged.
